Our Providers
Charles Brejcha
M.A., Audiologist | License: AU2530
Charles Brejcha’s love of sound and amplifiers started at a very young age. As a child, he was one of the very few who could have said, “When I grow up, I want to be an audiologist.” He unfortunately didn’t learn the word “audiologist” until after he had already received a Bachelor of Music degree in Composition from the University of Missouri Kansas City. Shortly after graduating, he met an audiologist who inspired him to use his passion for amplifiers and electronics to help people hear better.
Charles went on to receive a Master of Arts in Audiology from California State University, Los Angeles in 2006. He has been a dispensing audiologist in the Los Angeles area ever since, focusing primarily on hearing aid dispensing and programming bone anchored hearing aids (BAHA.) Charles looks forward to keeping you connected to friends and family through better hearing!
Taylor Cox
B.A., Hearing Instrument Specialist | License: HA8637
Taylor has been working as a hearing aid specialist since 2018. She was introduced to audiology while studying at California State University, Los Angeles. While at CSULA Taylor was exposed to American Sign Language and the deaf community. Attending deaf conventions allowed Taylor the opportunity to become immersed in the deaf community and gain a new perspective.
Taylor’s experience working with Charles Brejcha has given her the skills to work with the latest technology in hearing aids, and she is excited to assist you with your hearing aid needs.
“Kindness is the language the deaf can hear and the blind can see.” -Mark Twain
Rachel Carl
Au.D., Audiologist | License: AU2996
Rachel’s interest in hearing & communication began from watching her Grandfather and younger brother struggle with hearing and wanting better for them. Those experiences inspired her to complete both her Bachelors of Science and Doctor of Audiology degrees at Ball State University in Indiana. Her love of the outdoors brought her out west to California. After a decade in larger and corporate offices, she is excited to join Your Hearing Connection and work for and alongside another audiologist. Being a part of a local, independent, patient-oriented practice ensures that she can truly focus on every patient’s specific needs.
“Having access to the very best technology isn’t what really helps loved ones reconnect. It’s actually listening to and understanding each person’s needs and appropriately applying that technology.”
